About 10 years ago the German coach Jurgen Klinsmann was looking for an assistant. He was exhausted back then as after Holger Osieck’s refusal Guido Buchwald also denied to be his apprentice. At that time Franz Beckenbauer promised that he will give somebody to assist him very soon. After a few days The cv Klinsmann got to check out for was not at all good. Yeah, Joachim Loew’s record was not very promising as he had been dismissed from Stuttgart, Fenerbahçe, Austria before. But surprisingly Klinsmann appointed him in no time as he liked him very much after seeing him in a coaching course.

At that time German football was not a very good position in world ranking. Moreover they had been eliminated from the 1^st round of Euro 2004. But within 2 years they came back with some great strategy and Philosophy. The duo (Jurgen Klinsmann and Joachim Loew) made Germany a threat to the world's all football playing country.

But now things have changed. Today the Master will be confronting his disciple as Germany will face USA for the third time in world cup history.

In the last two encounters of these two teams, Germany snatched the spotlight each time. But this year the Americans seem to be in a tremendous form as they beat Ghana and drew with Portugal in their last two games.

Both the coach still hadn't talked with each other during this world cup because they are very busy with their family now. Publicly they never abused anyone but surely everyone is feeling the heat today. Because this is the time when Klinsmann will want to show that he left the throne that’s why Loew is sitting on it.

The USA needs a draw to advance to the next round.

Wear Integrity Instead of Condom to Prevent AIDS!

As our Health minister Harsh Vardhan is so concern about our health, he thinks that Indians should value of their culture, should have integrity before having sex.

According to the ENT specialist cum our Health minister, promoting the use of condoms sends the wrong message to have any kind of illicit sexual relationship, said in an interview. He also thinks that “The thrust of the AIDS campaign should not only be on the use of condoms”. He said that one not only should have the focus on promoting condom for having a safe sex, should also promote morality of sexual relationship between husband and wife as this is about our ancient Indian culture.

So as per Mr. Harsh Vardhan every sexual relationship instead of married couple is illegal. Someone has to be married to have sex. It seems that premarital sex will be banned in no time and will be illegal if you cannot prove your marital status! And he also mentioned the same sex relation as a criminal offence. ‘Men also have sexual relations by using condom in same sex’ – he said. And these all are not normal to him, as these do not support our culture and these are the parts of Western culture, which is now spreading its wings gradually among Indians.

The minister’s statement was criticised by the mover and shakers, working on HIV-AIDS.

      

So now stop buying condom and start wearing value before having sex as the anarchy is not so far because it’s time for ‘Modi sarkar’.

Uruguayan Vampire to destroy their World Cup Dream for Biting Italian Defender

Few days ago a British Daily published a photo of Luis Suarez in which they sarcastically made his teeth like a Dracula with blood on them. It seemed then that it’s a weird way of recalling the past of the Liver pool striker. Well who knew that Luis Suarez’s vampirism will be alive again in no time.

            

It’s not the first time though. Actually it’s nothing what Italy’s Chiellini had experienced Tuesday compared to the other attacks of this Uruguayan Dracula. 

4 years before Luis Suarez almost bit off the flesh of a Defender of PS Eindhoven.  Consequence: suspension in next 9 matches. Then he came to EPL and bit Chelsea’s Ivanovic. Consequence: suspension in next 10 matches. Before the world cup Suarez announced that he has changed. That insanity has completely gone now. He won’t bite anyone instead he wants to be a role model in soccer.

But by the 13^th day of the world cup it’s evidenced that the ‘Hannibal’ of Uruguay hasn’t changed a bit.

What happened Tuesday?
The second half of Uruguay-Italy match was going on. Suddenly Chiellini slouched on the ground in pain holding his neck. And Suarez also sat beside him grasping his mouth with the hands. Italy’s defender pulled his shirt down to show the referee a mark on his shoulder but no action was taken by the official. According to the Italian players Suarez bit Giorgio Chelini just before Godin rose to head in the winner.

What are the Consequences here?
Before this incident all the previous teeth controversy of Uruguayan striker was in Club football. But here all depends on the governing body FIFA. The maximum ban Suarez could face if Fifa takes retrospective action is 24 matches or two years.

"Suarez is a sneak," said Chiellini. "I'd love to see if Fifa has the courage to use video evidence against him. The referee saw the bite mark too, but he did nothing about it."

And Suarez? What’s he saying?
"It was just the two of us inside the area and he bumped into me with his shoulder. There are things that happen on the pitch and you should not make such a big deal out of them." the Liverpool striker said to the Uruguayan television yesterday.

Uruguay has qualified for the pre quarter final stage. But the run Uruguay started in this world cup with the help of Suarez’s two goals which made him the hero of his country against England seems to be failed. And this time also Luis Suarez is the Hero! Or should we say the “Villain”?

Government to Introduce Mini-Taxi as a Substitute for Auto in Kolkata

A new surprise is on the way for Kolkatans. The Government is arranging a new mini amazement for us; they have decided to start a new substitute of auto-rickshaw. 

This is the exact time of thinking about an alternative of auto, as peril of auto-rickshaw is increasing day by day. The city’s fringes are going to be introduced with mini-taxis. 

According to the Government, the mini taxi will be really more affordable for regular passengers.

The mini-taxis will provide seating capacity of four to five, and will be operated by CNG, LPG or petrol. According to our transport minister Madan Mitra, the fare of mini-taxi will be cheaper than existing taxis, and that will be so helpful for Kolkata’s daily passengers. He also told that his department has desired application from interested mini-taxi operators.

The main reason of thinking about such substitute of auto-rickshaw is the unbearable misbehaves of rogue auto drivers, demanding unreasonable fares, also demanding fare in coin and many more. And we have also seen harassed, beaten passengers, if they could not fulfil their demand. Their meanness has crossed every limit and now the time has come to stop all these.

The auto drivers are blaming the department of transport for not giving a proper look at the three wheeler’s fare; they do not get proper attention in about the fare like bus and taxi.

It seems that the passengers won’t face any harassment as the transport department will issue an order for mini-taxis to show fare charts in the vehicles mandatorily. And also there is an order that only those taxis will get licence, which will show the “No Refusal” tag on their taxis.

But there are some other issues with the new arrival. There is a parking issue, but transport department will organize the parking for mini-taxis like auto-rickshaws. Another issue is about the overcrowding of introducing mini-taxis in the city and its outskirts. The transport department is also trying to elevate supply of LPG, so that the taxis can get rid of the expensive petrol and can serve a reasonable fare to the passengers.

     

So, now it’s time to wait for the new mini substitute!

Arrest Warrant against MS Dhoni for Hurting Hindu Religious Sentiments

It seems like where there is a controversy there is MS Dhoni. This time a court in Andhra Pradesh has issued a bailable arrest warrant against ‘Captain cool’ for ostensibly hurting religious sentiments of Hindus.

A local court in Anantapur issued the arrest warrant as the Indian skipper did not appear in the court despite being summoned on three occasions. The court also directed Andhra Police to present Dhoni in court by July 16.

Business Today’s April 2013 carried the picture of MS Dhoni as Hindu God Lord Vishnu on their Magazine cover. The Picture was subtitled as “God of Big deals”. In that photo Dhoni was holding some products of several reputed companies including a shoe in his hand.

Offended by this Y. Shyam Sundar, a local leader of ‘Viswa Hindu Parishwad’ (VHP) filed a petition in February 2014 alleging that the cricketer hurt the sentiments of Hindus by insulting a Hindu God.

On three earlier occasions summons issued to MS Dhoni were returned, hence the court issued an arrest warrant. Similar petition against Dhoni had been filed in Delhi, Pune and other cities too.

Dhoni’s name is among the six prominent ‘Indian capped’ players for his alleged role in IPL spot fixing scam in the envelope submitted by Justice Mukul Mudgal before Supreme Court.

First there was only the heat of IPL spot fixing scandal. Now arrest warrant for profane behaviour added another feather in the crown of our ‘Captain Cool’. Let’s see how he deals with it.

Kolkata Metro Mishap: Passengers Stuck for over an hour, Many Faint

Thousands of commuters were stuck for over an hour after a south-bound non-AC metro train broke down in tunnel on the Kolkata Metro rail line on Monday. Several passengers passed out and had to be taken to the hospital.

The CPRO R.N Mahapatra said the snag developed at 11.25 am as the train entered the tunnel after leaving Park Street metro station. "All the passengers were evacuated from both sides of the rake by ladders which went down to the tracks." he said.

According to a passenger after today’s mishap when they went to the Superintendent’s room he  furiously, said “Ki chai ekhane?” (what do you want here?  

Normal Metro railway services were messed up since then. The railway authorities ran truncated services from Dum Dum to Central on one side and Mahanayak Uttamkumar (Tollygunge) to Kavi Subhas (New Garia) on the other.

The Non-ac rakes of Kolkata Metro Railway are very old and it is natural to occur such incidents frequently. But the question is how long people are going to risk their lives while travelling by Metro? The old and damaged rakes must be changed immediately to avoid such technical snag.

Suddenly there is an excitement about Indian Super League in this World Cup frenzied season. Atletico de Kolkata are all set to announce the name of their marquee player and manager on July 7.

          

According to the sources Atletico De Madrid is finalising the deal with the icon footballer and the manager for Kolkata franchise. Though Spain has now been wiped out from the current fifa world cup tournament but the Kolkata team owners have no problem with Spanish players and managers.

The unveiling will take place before West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee and may be the top officials of the Atletico De Madrid including coach Diego Simmons will be present in the ceremony.

Utsab Parekh, one of the five owners of Kolkata franchise has however refused to divulge any name about the marquee player or the manager.

"The negotiations are on and we have shortlisted a few names from the European football. We'll be able to finalise them by next week to meet the deadline. We'll also unveil the team's jersey on July 7," he said.

The State government has already promised to give full support to Sourav Ganguly’s franchise, which will have Yuva Bharati Krirangan as its home venue.

As per ISL guidelines each of the eight franchises can have one marquee player, seven international players and 14 national recruits, apart from a marquee manager.

Iranian Women Banned From Watching Games in Stadium

8 years ago Iranian director Jafar Panahi made a film named Offside. In that film he showed how still the Female fans are not allowed to enter football stadiums in Iran as there will be a high risk of violence or verbal abuse against them. The film was inspired by the director's daughter, who decided to attend a game anyway.

Last week, dozens of Iranian girls and women stood outside the closed gates of Tehran’s Azadi Stadium. All they wanted was the opportunity to cheer on the Iranian volleyball team in its game against Brazil. But, as they are not men, they were banned from attending.

The fans are facing further difficulty to watch the game they actually love.  The Cinema owners had hoped to arrange screenings for this year world cup matches. But General Ahmadi Moghadam, commander of Iran’s Security Forces, declared that no world cup games will be shown in any public cinema hall as there will be mixed audience. It will only be permitted if they can arrange separate screenings for male and female in different halls.

Well that’s not it. A couple of days before the world cup games started on 12^th June, government announced that football matches can’t be shown in any coffee shops and restaurant during world cup. “We have told our members that during the World Cup games they must either turn the TV off or switch to a channel which is not broadcasting the games”, the president of the Coffee Shop Owners Union told ISNA news agency.

Iran lost before Argentina yesterday after giving a very tough fight as the score line stayed 1-0 with Leo Messi scoring in 91^st minutes.
